Divine Intervention: Real Life and a Little Girl With Cancer PLEASE READ

For those readers who frequent this site,this is a most personal post.It has nothing to do with boss strategies or theorycrafting. This post is about a real life struggle that one my my guildmates is going through right now.This is about friends who support each other through their darkest hours.

A guildmate of mine from Sleepless Knights(who shall remain nameless for now)has a beautiful daughter named Eleanor Sultan.She is five years old,and as sad as it is to say,she is dying from cancer.

The details of her condition will not be talked about on this website,but the harsh reality is that her chances of survival are around 40%.It breaks my heart to bear any kind of bad news,but raising awareness to this cause and raffle is the goal of this post.

Here's a breakdown of the raffle:

Donate $10, you get a raffle ticket.
Donate $50, you get six of ‘em.
Donate $100, you get 14.

Prizes

* If we reach $1,000.00 then the raffle Will be for 10,000g on a US server.
* If we reach $5,000.00 then the raffle Will be for 20,000g on a US server.
* If we reach $10,000.00 then the raffle Will be for 20,000g on a US server *AND* 1 year paid subscription to WoW.

The award of the raffle depends on how much is donated. $2500 has already been donated, 10000 is currently up for grabs with the raffle, and the dollar amount is increasing daily with the Warcraft Community's generosity.

Additional Prizes

SkeletonJack has an offer from a friend of Ella’s mom to put in some additional gold. So in addition to the “Grand Prize Winner”, SkeletonJack will also have one to three additional prizes given out as well. This will directly hinge on how much is donated. The more donated to Ella, the more that is getting thrown into the pot. Possibly as much as an extra 10,000g or more.

This issue has hit home with me.There is nothing more important to a parent than their child's life.Many who know me personally know that I enjoy talking about the good times I have with my son Anthony,who is 6 years old right now.The perfect age in my eyes.He is my best freind.

I cannot express my feelings at this time of how important our children are to us,for it leaves me in tears literally to think of life without my son.Some of us play Warcraft as an escape from reality.For poor Ella's mother,World of Warcraft is her safe zone amongst friends,a place to be comfortable when real life takes it's toll.

Being a parent myself has put and emotional side into my post,and I want everyone to know that this raffle is for a wonderful parent with a wonderful daughter who has terminal cancer.No gimmick.No scam.This is as real as Real Life gets.Please help Eleanor.
